The NSCA Server is a service that runs on your Nagios Core server waiting for clients to submit check results. In turn it will submit these to Nagios as Passive check results.

NOTE: If you want to receive NSCA checks from NSClient++ 0.3.9 and below you MUST use NSCA version 2.7.2.
