Clients

Clients are (usually) remote devices that send check results to the NSCA Server.

Here are client implementations on different Operating Systems.

Windows

If you've been using Nagios for a while now and you've been monitoring Windows computers then you would have likely heard about NSClient++. NSClient is primarily associated with passive checks using check_nt and check_nrpe however these are just some of the modules it supports. It can also run as a NSCA client, turning it into a passive monitoring solution.
